Date night
I should tell you how much I love shooting families, children, and babies. It is so much fun to be so up close and personal with families. BUT, my biggest flaw is time management. It ALWAYS has been since I can remember. In the midst of working, I sometimes neglect my sweet Montana. He has never once complained because he knows that it is learning and growing time for me. In fact, he is just the opposite. He is super supportive, helps out when he can, de-stresses me, and so much more. For instance, tonight is date night. He planned a long walk, a bike ride, chick flick, yummy food (that he cooked and cleaned), and a listening ear. It is simple. Nothing expensive, nothing crazy- but just what the doctor ordered. Haha, not really! Thank you so much for a fun time and quietly reminding of what is most important in this life:)
Fun with tutus:)

Converse Fam:)
If you know me at all, you know I LOVE my converse shoes. This is the first family ALL wore them:) I was in love. They turned out so cute! Thanks for letting hang out with yall. It was so fun and your boys are soo cute!
P.S.- Since these are Christmas card photos that are to be a surprise for all who receive them, I chose photos to share that probably wouldn't be used, but are still cute so you could have a sneak peak:) I don't want to ruin the surprise for all your recipients.

The lovely Rachel Anna and her beautiful baby girl....
I heard about this amazing family through a friend at work and was totally inspired. So I want to share only the small part of her story that I know. Rachel Anna felt God calling to adopt a sweet baby girl despite it going against the grain. I loved it! So I wanted to meet her in person and hear her story. It is SOO inspiring. This mama has given up a lot to be here loving this little girl. The love between them is amazing and deep even though it has only been a few months. Her name is Matani and she is from Ethiopa. Rachel has an amazing family who has been so supportive and loving during this process. These two belong together. The love between them is strong. I can't wait to get it grow and hope I can be a part! God bless. I am so happy for yall! Thanks for coming to hang out!

My Handyman
I should show a picture of this guy's lovely handy work in our front yard, but it doesn't look so lovely right now. Although, it will, once the grass starts growing:) We bought an OLD SCHOOL house. Like 1960's oven still being used in the kitchen, diving board is atleast 30 years old, and sparkly gold countertops in our bathrooms. We bought the house for it's quirkyness and quaintness. It feels a little Southern to me with the big back yard, open rooms, etc. Not the point, sorry to divert. Every month, new projects arise out of necessity to fix, not desire to change. My husband is super smart, but never really had to fix plumbing, pools, or sprinklers. No need when you can call your lovely landlord to do it for free:) BUT when you are the landlord, haha, you do it all yourself because it is cheaper! Erick Geryol spent countless hours teaching MJ how to build a sprinkler system. Thanks Erick!!! Poor guys have been sweating it out in the hottest month in AZ too. We got en estimate of 2000 bucks for our measly little front yard and he decided to do it himself since we aren't rolling in that kind of dough. I am so proud of him. I would have given up weeks ago, but he is more patient than I. He totally finished it today. YEAH!!! Now our gopher holes will be covered with dirt and hopefully, grass will grow!

Luke & Cheryl Sneak Peek:)
Sweet little Charlize is almost here:)
Road Trip Music
I love a good road trip with my best friend. We went to see his sweet family in Yuma. Had a great time catching up, seeing Sarah's new place and hearing what God is doing in Mexico from Montana's folks. Such a special time! I was hopeful on the way home that he would keep on driving to San Diego and let us go play in the beach, BUT instead we got new music to listen too and so I remained happy. So good..... especially #7.

{My sweet love}
Montana,
I am SOOOO proud of your patience and your diligence. It astounds me daily that you have this characteristic even when no one is watching. You never complained about working a job that you may or may not keep at SRP for 2 1/2 year. I would have been OVER it in a week, but you persevered. God was paying attention (as always) and in His perfect time, He provided.
Secondly, thank you for driving ALL the way to CA to pick up a piano from your folks so I could enjoy playing on a real piano rather than our old ghetto keyboard. It sure looks pretty in the living room! Thanks for enduring rain and hail to get it to me on your one day off this week. I appreciate it! I can just see our babies and us sitting around it playing songs all night. One day....
Love your sometimes "not so vocal about my appreciation for you" wife,
Aubrey

Faux Paus of Recent
Haha! I realized today that I haven't updated yall on our sweet Iraqi foreign exchange student. Montana & I can't get over how different our cultures and spiritual beliefs are. Thankfully, Tahseen is very tactful:) So for some funny moments of recent:
1- It is SO NOT OKAY to eat food from a fridge that has had beer in it. Who knew? Apparently, this contaminates their food. Some Americans eating my food might like it better with a beer. HAHA!
2-Never let your dog try to give them kisses. Apparently, all dogs have diseases whether they see a vet or not. So poor Charlie has not gotten any lovin' from him, but he has from us.
3-During Ramadan, if you travel 20miles from home- you are able to eat all day long. Moral of the story is- if you fast for church and are hungry, drive to the In and Out 20 miles away and it is okay to eat?!?!?! Interesting.
4-Apparently colorful bras are not an option in Iraq. So in taking an Iraqi to the mall, be aware that heavy staring at ALL THE BRAS will occur. Let's just say I was blushing at all the bras in EVERY store that we sell here.
More to come-
Enjoy your day:)
