I am in love with these girls and their curls. How beautiful are they! Their mom, Ambrey, was just as beautiful and sweet. Thank you for enduring the heat. It was well worth it!

Light Feet Project

I am learning

I feel like in doing this blog, it tends to be on the selfish side. For that, I feel rudely awakened tonight. Forgive me. My hope in doing photography is to bring glory to God. If don't make a dime doing this, it is alright. My purpose is higher and want to use it for Him. In so doing, I spent some time figuring out how I want to serve people and ministries a little bit better than what I have been doing currently. Sometimes, I feel like I am working two full time jobs and family gets left in the dust as I try to get this business off the ground. My focus got a little off kilter. Some excited projects are coming together that I would your help in joining me with. I will get to those in coming posts. I just wanted to say thank you for those who read this and pray you hear my heart in this!

Sweet Lynley

This is one of the sweet doctor's that I have ever worked with. It has been such a joy to watch her grow and learn. She has led by example since I have known her. She needed some professional shots for her new job back in the Midwest. We are ALL so sad to see her go, but wish her the best! This woman is amazing!!! (and an amazing mommy to be:)

Wanted: Vintage Cameras

My new passion is to collect old school cameras. How cute are these! Found some on Craigslist and Ebay, but would love to help yall clean out your attics or garages (in AZ, haha!). Best Summer Read.....

This has been my summer study book. I love Beth Moore. She speaks in a way that feels like she wrote it just for me:) I am not that egocentric to think that she did, but it gets to the heart of the matter STAT. I met with bunch of girls at my house from across the valley weekly as we did a "book club." We learned so much from eachother's testimonies/ life stores/ insecurities. It was eye opening. It has been a long time since I have been this vulnerable with women before and I must say, it was refreshing! Thanks girls! Yall rocked it!

My biggest support

I wanted to give a shout out and huge thank you to this man. He loves my unconditionally daily. He helps settle me when I get stressed or worked up. You see, I am a perfectionist to the inth degree. He helps see the big picture. He encourages me that business is a constant work of art and each month, each year- I will get better at it. It is my dream to be doing this family photography and he fully supports my random hours and crazy editing nights. I SOO appreciate you, Montana.

4th of July

I love 4th of July. It has many reasons to celebrate. Thank you to ALL who have paid the price of that. Plus, I get to hang out with my favorite boys in CA!!! Love them.

A cool Alaskan family and a new MD

This cool family came all the way from Alaska to visit Kelly for her graduation from residency. We had a fun time over in Scottsdale, but it was very HOT for this Alaskan family. They did great though! Not one complaint:) Enjoy the new job and Congrats!!

J's 3rd Birthday Bash

I can't even believe this little guy turned 3. I remember when Rachel was praying to get pregnant and we planned all the church's baby showers together. Crazy, two beautiful blondies later:) Thanks Rachel for letting me a part of his special day! You did a wonderful job!

Rochelle's Baby Shower

We had the baby shower for Rochelle and baby Ireland got some great things! I told Rochelle that it is too bad that those clothes are not bigger or else we could borrow;) She has the sweetest friends who truly blessed her with great love! We love you baby Ireland and can not wait to meet you!!!! ps: the watermelon bassinet is my mother's craftiness!
